A remote assessment is where a surveyor uses information obtained from digital resources to produce a report without need to physically inspect a property.
We also use information provided by you using our simple online form. We will ask for details about your property and you can upload any images or files that you think would help the surveyor. We are always available by telephone or email to discuss any details prior to submitting the form.
Our rebuild cost assessments are carried out by RICS Registered surveyors so you can be assured that the report is produced to a high possible standard.
Our surveyors use the latest data from the Building Cost Information Service (BCIS), who provide cost and pricing information for the UK construction industry. We also reference data from various digital resources including HM Land Registry, Ordnance Survey, historical Rightmove marketing details, local authority planning records, online government sources like Energy Performance Certificates, and mapping tools such as Google Maps and satellite imagery.
If our surveyor feels that a remote assessment would not be able to provide an accurate rebuild cost assessment we would refund your fee in full and recommend a physical inspection is carried out.
Your Rebuild Cost Assessment report will be prepared and signed by an RICS Registered Chartered Surveyor.
It will provide you with the cost of rebuilding your property in the event of a total loss.

- Fences
